The International Cricket Council (ICC) Rankings for Twenty20 International cricket, introduced in May 2005, are the official rankings used to determine qualification for the ICC World Twenty20 and for the various other international Twenty20 competitions (eg the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier). Records

Bahawal Stadium, inaugurated in 1982, is located in Bahawalpur, Punjab, This Is Hampshire (thisishampshire.co.uk). This ground is officially known as Arif Mehmood Stadium at Fatima Jinnah Colony and hosted its first Test match on 14October 1982 between Pakistan and Sri Lanka after the Independence. The match was drawn but the stadium was established as a venue for international matches. The ground staged its second Test match in November 1983 between Pakistan and India. This match led to the award of a 'Test championship point'for the first time in the history of Test cricket.

The last report of any Test match played at this ground comes from December 1998 when another draw was recorded between Pakistan and Zimbabwe. The ground was established as an international cricket venue in 1882 and has hosted Test match since 1 March 1886 when the first match of the AUS v Engd series ended in a draw. The ground was not included in the original list of venues for 1992 Cricket World Cup but was one of seven venues added a year before that tournament took place.

There are no permanent seats though a shed in the southern end has accommodation for 400 people. The first ODI at the stadium took place on April 1988, though hosting its first match on Australia Day 1996, when a crowd of 8387 saw Australia defeat India by 4 wickets in front of a sold-out crowd. The ground has hosted 25 Test matches, the first of these was between New Zealand and India in December 2001.

The first Test century at the ground was achieved by Stephen Fleming, who made 137 not out for New Zealand against India in February 2002. The highest individual score made on the ground is 311 not out, by Indian batsman Mohammad Azharuddin in February 1991. The first of these was taken by Jim Laker, bowling for England against Australia, during the second Test of the 1956 Ashes series. The most recent instance of a five-wicket haul on the ground was when Imran Khan took 5/21 for Pakistan against New Zealand in 1985 during the third ODI.

Two ODI centuries have been scored at the ground, both by Darren Bravo. Bravo scored the first century in Saint Lucian cricket history when he made 117 against the West Indies in March 2013. He bettered that feat when he scored 148 runs off 129 balls against Bangladesh in February 2015. Two of the ten five-wicket hauls have been taken by spinners, both Rajagopal Sathish and Muttiah Muralitharan took two five-wicket hauls while playing for the home team.
