Parks, Gardens And Nature

There are many parks and gardens in the greater Chicago area, each unique and holding a special character of its own. It doesn’t help that we have to battle grey skies with temperatures ranging from a high of 55F (13C) to a low of 32F (0C). This time of the year, there’s no better place to be than in one of Newcastle’s parks or gardens. They are quiet and peaceful getaways on a warm crisp autumn day. But even in winter there is beauty to be found in the way the light plays on tree bark and ice crystal sparkles on water. And in spring, summer and autumn you can find me wandering round with my camera trying to capture that beauty.

Beautiful parks and gardens make for a beautiful day out and so I have chosen to write about Houston’s many parks, gardens, nature reserves and waterfront as a way of showcasing the beauty of our city.
